Since the beginning of what is often called the “Schneider Era,” the NFL Draft has been a source of excitement and positivity for Seahawks fans. General Manager John Schneider and his team are renowned around the league for their impressive savvy when it comes to thrifty trades, mindful moves and deliberate decision-making, and the Draft tends to be when the Seahawks front office shines brightest. Putting aside their shaky record with first round selections, it seems that year after year the Seahawks manage to find solid contributors deep into days two and three of the draft, miraculously sque ..read more

Top RB Draft Prospects

Since 2015, there has been 8 RB’s drafted in the first round. This RB class doesn’t seem to have any potential stars at the Saquon Barkley-type level, but there should be a couple of potential first and second round picks that could be taken in this year’s draft. The NFL has been valuing RB’s less and less in recent years. More teams have been turning to multiple RB’s in their offense and it has been hurting the RB position group. This may be for the best for NFL teams considering that they can still get good production, while not having to spend an early round draft pick, or invest in a lucra ..read more

Falcons’ Biggest Needs in 2020 NFL Draft

A disappointing 7-9 season in 2019 has ramped up the pressure on HC Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff to find immediate impact players in this year’s draft. Knowing it’s playoffs or likely being fired in 2020, both men were rightfully busy through the first wave of free agency adding talent to the roster. Most notably, the Falcons were able to sign DE Dante Fowler Jr. and RB Todd Gurley, and also trade for TE Hayden Hurst. However, limited cap space also forced the team to make some difficult decisions on key veterans, leading to the departures of TE Austin Hooper, DE Vic Beasley, CB Desmond T ..read more

As the ides of April are upon us, and only eight days away from this year’s virtual NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns began crafting headline material in the late morning of what is traditionally Tax Day. Is Dwayne Haskins the Answer in Washington?
SkullKing Fantasy Football

Last year, at this time I had written an article praising the Washington Redskins for their first round draft choices. I felt at the time that choosing Dwayne Haskins in the first round, as well as Montez Sweat shortly thereafter were the  steals of the first round. The thought at the time was that the team had found their franchise quarterback in this prolific passer from Ohio State. Let’s have some real talk right now… Dwayne Haskins’ performance as a starter last year did not pay significant dividends, but the growth potential was obvious. With good coaching and tutelage, the beli ..read more

Free Agency Impact on Baltimore Ravens
SkullKing Fantasy Football
by Thomas Barnett

The Baltimore Ravens have had a productive off-season thus far, acquiring the likes of Calais Campbell, Derek Wolfe (unofficially), draft capital, and keeping some of their core players. In 2019, Baltimore’s defense was already daunting, finishing the season 3rd in Points Allowed over the course of the season. Combine that with an electrifying offense and you can clearly see how they earned their 1st round bye in the playoffs. At the end of the day, the Titans were able to expose one of the major weaknesses of the 2019 Ravens, and it looks a lot like Baltimore is addressing that now. In 2019 ..read more
