Happy Canada Day, y’all!  We’re celebrating with a stroll through one of our favourite ‘hoods in the city.  BanglaTown is located on the eastern end of Danforth Avenue just before Vic Park.  Located in the Danforth Village BIA, this strip is often overlooked when it comes to food coverage.  We’re aiming to change that. You really can’t go wrong heading to St. Clair West on #tacotuesday.  The ‘hood is renown for its taquerias.  The spot we like to frequent when we’re looking for a little bit of atmosphere is Atomic 10.  Tucked away just off the strip, it’s an elevated vibe (adorned in neon). Gōng Xǐ Fā Cái The Toronto Food Blog are creatures of habit.  We’re always happy to go back to the well once we’ve uncovered the goods.  To that end, Yummy House (234 Jones Ave) is a spot we’ve been frequenting on the regular lately. Leslieville Pumps General Store and Kitchen (aka The Pumps) is a place that needs little introduction.  Located on Toronto’s lower eastside, the Flom brothers have been at the forefront of The 6ix’s BBQ scene for over a decade.  Growing out of their humble beginnings as a gas station and evolving into a general store & smokehouse, they’ve refined and perfected the two-hander one sandwich at a time.
