Homemade pasta has always intimidated me, the pressure in getting the right thickness of the dough and chewiness in texture. I certainty didn't think it would be possible for me to create something delicious without having a machine, but as I didn't want to invest in a machine just yet, I challenged myself anyway.  I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was even with only a rolling pin to hand.
