Our previous chairman David Bernstein has written a book to be published on 11 March titled “ We were really there “ —. “The Rebirth of Manchester City “. This covers his time as Chair of Manchester City FC from 1998 to 2003 a period when the club was reborn and started a journey from the 3rd level of English football to become treble winners and world champions. It is both an  insight into the  workings of a major football club and a study of engendering change in an underperforming organisation The post We were really there.. Club President and Super Senior at the age of 93 has added another fine achievement in his tournament record. Lennie placed runner-up in the 90 and Over Seniors event held at the West Hants Club in Bournemouth on clay. After two solid victories Lennie eventually came up against a very tough opponent Gordon Oates in the Final. An inspiration to us all a great achievement.
