This may be the wrong subreddit for this so lmk but yeah
So basically me, my brother and my dad are all korn fans and we found out that their gonna be playing near us so we planned to go see them. The issue is that my dad kinda wants to take me and not my brother. The issue is that he’s already asked to see like, 3 different bands this year and I haven’t so it seems more fair, and the concert closest to us is still a ways away so we would need a hotel and dad doesn’t really wanna have to pay for a bigger room
I completely understand where my dad is coming from and to be fair, my brother has b ..read more

So when I started listening to a concert from every year, I also started a "Ziggy's Picks" file which is one of my main writing files for collecting my thoughts about the Dead. One section of it is reserved for comments that I read on Archive. There are no fans anywhere that can match the wit, the excitement, and lunacy of the comments you come across. This also has to do with sports as well. For us in the USA we know how much ticket prices are these days, Europe on the other hand not so much. I’m a season ticket holder as well as an ultra for Juventus and my season tickets for 19 matches cost only $631. I paid $1,750 (2nd hand) to attend the champions league final in 2017. People in Europe thought I was nuts, everyone here in America thought I stole them, given the champions league final is like 20 times bigger than the Super Bowl.
Metallica will be in Milan soon and I’ll be in Italy for a few weeks. Floor seats are going for $100 which in ..read more

I was debating on seeing Cypress Hill w/ The Pharcyde at Concord Music Hall in Chicago tonight but a guy was selling his ticket which was $80 after fees. I think it was $60 face value and then $80 after fees, which is insane. I was debating on buying a resale but those were going up. This is run by AXS btw.
Hell, I was looking at tickets for Bad Religion and Social Distortion at the Riviera in Chicago and those were $83 after fees. Starting to seem like concerts are soon gonna be a privilege for the wealthy, not to mention most of that money isn't going to the artist anyways.
