Hi guys! I’ve been pole-dancing for about one year or so and my instructor has recently moved me to a more advanced class where we do more spinning moves and moves that involves inverting. However, I’ve been finding it difficult to catch up with other students in class. My instructors are great in teaching and it’s not that the movements are difficult - it’s that I feel like I lack the strength/ energy to do them. I’ve recently taken a 6 weeks break due to academic commitments and vacation. Yesterday I finally went back to the studio and boy I felt so faint 20 minutes into the class and I cou ..read more

Just about every time I post a video of me dancing and doing amazing on social media, somebody (usually a guy) gives a backhanded compliment as in “looks great can’t wait until you perfect it” or “keep practicing” something along those lines. Stfu. Nobody asked you for your comment and I want to see you try. submitted by /u/moneyotw [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How to break in pleaser boots..

Hey y’all so I got these 8 inch laced boots with the open toe, the fake leather. I find that they have like more room under the foot and toe but my heel is like squeezed in, hard to describe, it doesn’t feel like my feet can really sink into them. I know if I go any smaller they’ll be too small, or any larger too big. They feel super stiff, I can’t squat down well. Do I return them or break them in somehow?? I’m thinking if I put some heel in soles they’ll lift my feet up enough to fill in the bottom, but as far as them feeling flexible what do?? submitted by /u/GovernmentHour7043 [visit red ..read more

So I got the static x pole. I don’t have a stud finder yet but I realized the ceilings are plaster so there isn’t like, metal rods in them? My parents are worried about the weight and pressure that it will cause against the ceiling and floor because it might break through the ceiling/floor Can I still put it up? What should I do? I can’t cancel the order on xpole apparently. submitted by /u/MomSalam [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
