Hi everyone, Thanks for the comments on Violette’s dress… I was bracing myself in case it wasn’t well received… but thankfully, it seems to be okay to proceed. I spent some time looking on the internet at 1920’s necklaces and hair accessories and stockings. Most of the headbands with feathers were for the flapper dresses, which Violette’s dress might be considered one. (?) It’s May 1st and Dorothy, in PA’s very favorite day of the year! I hope this brings a smile to her face and yours too! Nothing is sweeter than seeing dolls dancing around the May Pole… and guess who sent me some pictures? Linda’s dolls in St. Louis are up first! I thought I’d share what I found shopping this last week but first a couple more pictures from the baby shower. My friend, Sylvia, who helped with the decorating and the food setup sent these to me. HI everyone, I feel like I have lost 10 pounds since we last met together. (I only wish!!!) The last ten days have been a whirlwind of activity for us! We enjoyed the visit with Rebecca and Karn but they left Saturday morning. Friday morning we went to the big World Hunger Sale inside the mall, in the Old Navy Store. Hi everyone, Things are going well here… lots and lots of visiting which is SO nice and “some” shopping, but not as much as before. We did notice a sale happening in town that we are planning to go to. It might “take the cake” as far as thrift shopping goes!
