Just getting into lacrosse. I'm aware of the brands and a few good heads and shafts but I'm not sure what to get myself. Plan on playing middie, I like the feel of a lighter stick but not toooo light; STX Sc-Ti is a good weight for example. But heads and stuff, I'm lost. I move back and forth from o middie to attack and I’m wanting to try stringing my own head for the first time. I already have a shaft but i was wondering what head would suit me best. Right now i have a maverik tactik 3.0 with a mid high pocket. I like it but it doesn’t have enough hold for me and i want to have a stick with more whip. So im a sophomore recovering from two labrum arthroscopy’s as I tore both my labrum’s and hurt my rotator cuffs. I played close d my freshman year and was good so people were expecting me to play varsity this year before I hurt myself. I’m really worried about redislocating my shoulders again and having to get another shoulder surgery and potentially ending my athletic career. I’m a 14u club lacrosse goalie. My team has a tournament in 2 days that I really want to go to, but can’t because I have to leave for a vacation tomorrow. The place we are going to is 7 hours from the tournament. I want to stay back and go to the tournament, but my parents have said no because they planned the vacation before this tournament was scheduled, which I understand because they hardly ever get to travel.
