I am overdue for writing this post on what to wear as a mom who travels most of the year. When I had my daughter over 2 years ago, I knew my wardrobe would change. And well here we are. As a full-time traveler with often my now toddler in tow, I’m very intentional about what I pack. I also can’t have two separate wardrobes for trips with and without her — so I need clothes that look good whether or not I am chasing my 2-year-old. I’m in a variety of climates, often in Europe or Mexico, so I have a rather “capsule approach” to my wardrobe. I will say this about my style — I don’t want to look ..read more

I just returned from London after doing 48 hours on the ground. Yes, I flew from San Francisco to London for just 2 nights in the city. So I’m sharing the best things to do in 2 days if you have 48 hours in London as I covered some serious ground. This was my first trip back to London in over 10 years, and I was eager to return. To be completely frank, my first trip to London left a bit of a sour taste — I think it was the time of year (winter), where we stayed, and what we did. I had no desire to revisit but since it had been a decade, I wanted to give it a shot again as I had been invited t ..read more

As a Northern California native, I’ve been to Placerville about a dozen times. It’s one of our favorite weekend destinations for small town charm and outdoor adventure. Set right on the way to Lake Tahoe, you can’t miss Placerville. So many people come up to this regino for Apple Hill. While I always love Apple Hill, you also can’t miss Placerville itself.
