I’m supposed to get my period this week on the day of my long flight and the thought is making me so upset. My first two days are quite painful for me, and being on a plane during that is going to be unbearable ?
Any ideas on how to delay it from coming in a natural way? Maybe certain things to eat or drink? Sorry if this is a stupid question ?

For the sake of this post: I'm going to start from the very beginning.
I got my period in 5th grade. It was always heavy and relatively regular, about every 30-34 days. When I was in highschool, I went on oral birth control because my doctor recommended it. Unfortunately, I was under massive amounts of stress and didn't take it correctly. I would miss 3-4 days and then spend a few days doubling them up because I was a dumb kid. For awhile I got a little better at it but ultimately decided that if I couldn't take it correctly consistently- that I should not take it at all. So I finished the la ..read more

So my period is now 37 days late. I know this doesn’t seem as bad, however, my period has never been late—the only time it has been late was when I was younger and on very rare occasions. I average about 28-31 days in cycle length. Never had sex either.
I’m not on any medications and I am a young adult. I am pretty underweight and have been my entire life.
In January and February my cycle was 34 days long which is pretty concerning to me. However, I have anxiety and was super anxious during those months so it made sense. In March, it went back to normal kinda with a 31 day cycle. This month h ..read more

PLEASE HELP I took spironolactone for about 7 months for acne and it didn’t really work so I just recently started decreasing the dosage and now I am taking it every other day (advised by my doctor) until I have taken all the pills. I am 6 days late to my period and usually am always on time. I am not sexually active and while I was taking spironolactone it didn’t seem to affect my period at all. Should I be concerned that I haven’t gotten my period?

Hey all,
So, since I had my first menstruation, I’ve always had sore breasts during the cycle. Three months ago - it just stopped. I am pretty curious if it’s a common thing or not. At first, I was a bit confused and concerned that this symptom randomly disappeared. I guess it’s not necessarily a bad thing, but I do miss having plump cherries ? ?
Anywho, has anyone experienced this? Is it concerning? Or is it normal?
Thanks in advance for the replies! ♡

Hi all!
Just a little FYI - I’ve been on birth control for a year now with no issues at all.
I am a bit concerned because I’ve been getting spotting (sort of like a dark brown discharge) for the past week now. I still have approximately 15 days until my period, or at least that’s how many tablets I have until my 7-day break, so it’s not my menstruation sneaking up.
I’m wondering if this may be a hormonal imbalance, perhaps? I’m not sure. Or if I should get a doctor's appointment.
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Thanks in advance! ♡
