Easter has come and gone marking the beginning of 2023’s theme park season in the UK. Over the last few months our team have been working up and down the country carrying out maintenance and service on a selection of the UK’s finest attractions. Winter shutdown seems like a quiet period for theme parks, our Garmendale engineers can confirm this is quite the opposite.

This week marks the 4th anniversary of the world’s largest indoor theme park, Warner Brothers World Abu Dhabi. An incredible theme park offering thrilling family adventures starring characters from Warner Brothers most popular properties. Some of Britain’s most popular attractions don’t have a traditional winter shutdown period like most theme parks instead they are constantly operating at a high level and must carefully plan maintenance to minimise disruption to service. A few of London’s top attractions fall under this specialist bracket, the London Eye and the SEA LIFE Centre London among them. This August is the 90th Anniversary of arguably Denmark’s finest export and the Universes favourite toy. LEGO is one of the world’s most recognisable brands, with toys, films, tv shows, and theme parks all contributing to the legacy of LEGO (LEGOcy). Our team is filled with rather excited film fans as the truly epic Jurassic Park series comes to an end tomorrow with the release of Jurassic World: Dominion. This beloved film series spans, 6 films, multiple theme park rides, and countless spin-offs.
