I have just been informed that there has only been 24 hours of sunshine in Reykjavik in the whole of July, which I think succinctly sums up how it is going. After the brief spell of warmer temperatures last week, the gentle rain and overcast skies have continued and the temperatures have remained low, mostly between 6 – 7 °C and there has even be some snow in the north. The rivers are all at a very good height for this stage of July which bodes very well for those going towards the end of July and the beginning of August.
