There’s a new brunch spot near the Dominion area — Mae Dunne Kitchen & Goods. Along with a charming aesthetic, the hospitality and food at Mae Dunne is incredible.
After looking over the extensive menu I decided on three drinks and two dishes!
Brunch began elegantly with a lavender latte (one of the best, and I’ve had many!) created with Los Poblanos lavender paired with a lavender limonada with fresh squeezed limeade and sparkling water.
So far, my favorite brunch dish is the Turkish egg toast with herbed yogurt on the bottom, sun-dried tomato pesto, sliced avocado, s ..read more

When I saw the first photos of a new coffee shop opening near downtown, I promptly included it in my extensive list of local spots to visit. Located on E. Jones and Broadway in San Antonio, Kiki’s On Jones serves coffee, pastries, and bites in an elegant atmosphere for you and your pup to enjoy.
Adorned in pop culture dog art, fresh flowers, and velvet furniture staples, I lounged at Kiki’s for hours, and I don’t even have a dog.
As most coffee shop visits start, I began with a lavender, oat milk latte and then enjoyed Kiki’s signature holiday drink – the Keekerato Jubilee. Poure ..read more

Real estate lead generation has changed over the years, but in many respects, it’s also stayed largely the same. Digital lead generation is good, but it hasn’t managed to completely replace direct mail. Likewise, sometimes cold calling is still the best option, despite the rise of email and texting.
The world of lead generation for real estate investors hasn’t completely transformed because the game is still the same: you need to find good properties to buy, and you need to find people who are willing to buy them.
Any money you spend finding these buyers and sellers cuts into your profits. Bec ..read more

The Zona Cultural Business Corridor, home to the historic Market Square, is one of the most vibrant and culturally rooted areas in San Antonio. When I was young, I can recall visiting Market Square with my family and I remember being taken by the colors and music. It was quite a different scene when I returned this summer.

As San Antonio continues to advance, many locals, especially local small businesses, are feeling the growing pains. To support the businesses we love so much, the city has created a new program — Paving the Way.
While construction can cause headaches due to increased traffic and difficulty parking, we must continue to support our local small businesses that have been highly affected by these construction zones.
This time is vital for the current businesses that reside in these areas and if we want to see their growth alongside our city, we must come together to support them in ever ..read more
