In what appears to be a rare reversal, Disney World has opted to make a portion of a dark ride easier to see. Attractions like the soon-to-be-extinct DINOSAUR dark ride have been getting darker over the years, making it difficult to see and photograph many scenes within the ride. Another example used to be the rainforest scene in the Living with the Land attraction. However, Disney World has recently updated the scene to include a lot more lighting – allowing guests to enjoy some of the otherwise difficult-to-see details. The Savi’s Workshop Handbuilt Custom Lightsabers experience and the Droid Depot Build-a-Droid experience have changed booking policies at the Walt Disney World Resort. Both Star Wars Land upcharge experiences moved from a credit card guarantee to pre-paid experiences recently. Previously, both experiences required a credit card guarantee when booking, and then full payment was required at the location before you began the experience. Today, Disney World added “Good-to-Go” dates for April 24th, 28th, and 30th. With the 2024 EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival set to end in just over a month, Disney World has announced the dates for the 2024 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. According to Disney World, the 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival will run from August 29 to November 23, 2024. That puts the event at roughly one month shorter than in 2023. Welcome to day three of the Earth Week celebrations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As part of the celebration, guests are treated to single-day meet & greets featuring rare characters. Disney has filed a permit for a dual-launch roller coaster that will be located between Zootopia and Treasure Cove. Here’s a look at the overview of the coaster, with Zootopia to the left of the coaster and the Pirates of the Caribbean Battle for the Sunken Treasure show building to the right.
