Ice Factor will increase prices on a variety of products, effective 17th December 2021. As a business reliant on the tourism and hospitality industry, we aren’t immune to the current climate and our prices must reflect our current operating costs. We have not had a price increase in over 6 years and although we have done all we can to shoulder operating costs for most of 2020 and 2021, we have finally had to increase our prices.

20th, 21st, 22nd Dec: 0900-1800
23rd Dec: 0900-2200
24th Dec: 0900-1600
25th Dec: Closed
26th Dec: 1100-1800
27th, 28th, 29th Dec: 0900-1800
30th Dec: 0900-2200
31st Dec: 0900-1600
1st Jan: 1100-1800
Standard 0900-1800 opening times from 2nd-9th Jan (Thurs 0900-2200)
10th Jan back to 0900-1700 opening times (Thurs 0900-2200).

Ice Factor is now open 9th October, here’s our new rules and regulations
We have introduced some new rules and procedures to keep our team, our visitors and our community safe. We have been following the industry news and guidance and are proud to have met or exceeded these throughout the centre. As such we have been awarded the ‘Good To Go’ mark by Visit Scotland and ask that you join us in playing our part to keep everyone safe.

Our new Procedures
Only sit at a table with a menu. This is to ensure your table has been sanitised before you sit at it
Our capacity is the number of tables available on the ground floor and mezzanine, if there are no tables please wait for one to become available, we are at capacity
Please view the menu on your table and bring it with you to order at the counter (only one person per table please)
Our team will take your menu for cleaning and place your order

UPDATE 20/03/2020: We are closing temporarily
We are closing temporarily
at 10pm tonight (20th March 2020) as requested by the UK Government. We
are continuing to comply with the guidelines they have issued and hope
you will too.

Kev Shields – from Ayrshire to the top of the climbing world
Kev is one of our team here at Ice Factor, he sets our routes on the climbing walls and instructs with the centre. He is also one of the best climbers in the UK and the first disabled person to enter the UIAA Ice Climbing World Cup (having only one fully functioning hand). He’s had to battle injury, preconceptions and, as most new parents will agree, the challenge of becoming a new father in his journey from Ayrshire to the top of the climbing world.
