Whew, a lot has happened since my last “ten things” post! I stole this idea from my friend Kelly– but it’s basically just an old school blog post where I share the first ten things that come to mind… Ready, set, go! ONE // Love Is Blind So I know this is kind of “over” already, but I never really chatted about it on here. This season of Love Is Blind was so good. I watched and loved the first season when it came out (we binged it on a girls’ trip right before the pandemic started), but couldn’t get into any other season. Then…. this year. I was seeing buzz on social media and my interest was p ..read more

Hello from another Friday! We are grooving along through March– how?! We are officially in spring and it’s been a welcome change. The temperatures dipped again this week, but we’re so close to better weather that I can almost taste it. Ever since the pandemic, spring has been my favorite season. During March 2020, I would go on extremely long walks taking note of the daily changes in the landscaping– new little buds on tress, tiny flowers pressing up through the ground, and the shadow of green on trees. It felt so hopeful and now I see spring in a whole new light. Rory’s thank you notes ..read more

RESORTWEAR ROUNDUP

I’m lusting over all the new resortwear arrivals! Definitely craving warm weather, and even if I don’t have somewhere tropical to go, I will happily browse! There were so many cute summer dresses that it was hard to narrow them down. This breezy mini dress is vacation ready and has a fun, vibrant floral block print. I love the pops of turquoise and sage green across the bodice, bell sleeves, and hemline. Pair it with sandals and a raffia tote for an easy vacation look that is perfect to wear anywhere from the beach to dinner. I’m also swooning over the blue and white floral print on ..read more

The first five weeks of Rory’s life have truly flown by and now Easter is a week and a half away! It’s the first holiday we’ll be spending with both boys and I can’t believe we’re already crossing off this “milestone.” To me, the best Easter basket stuffers are things that they either won’t tire of easily or I’d already be buying for them anyway, like a new swimsuit or pair of pajamas. Rounding up some of the things I have my eye on or have given before below! ICYMI: the best Easter baskets, Easter dresses, and children’s Easter outfits! What a week! We had a few fun plans and also just a lot of family time– and great weather to enjoy! It was a little bit of a tease for what’s to come. Jack is as rambunctious as ever and Rory has been waking up a bit more as he grows and grows. I am getting slowly letting myself get excited for summer… it’ll be here before we know it. LAST WEEK’S WIN: Kind of a dumb “win,” but we switched pediatricians this year. It was easy for Rory as he just became a new patient when he was born. I had to transfer all of Jack’s medical history to the new pediatrician’s office and get him squeezed in fo ..read more

RE-WARDROBING

Whew! This second pregnancy did a number on my body. Now that I’m a month out of pregnancy, I’m feeling more at “peace” with my body– but I’m definitely facing the reality that my body is forever changed. It was already changed after having Jack… but even more so now. I’m trying not to stress about it– it is what it is. However, it’s a daunting task looking at my closet and realizing that 75% of what I own, including shoes, no longer fit and probably either won’t ever again, or it’ll be a long time before I can. So instead of spiraling over this, I’m looking at it as an opportunity ..read more

This week FLEW by in large part, I think, due to the fabulous weather we’ve been having. It’s been gorgeous and just so sunny and warm. Our town has come back to life! It’s the best feeling. Jack has been thriving with all the great outdoor time and Rory is also starting to “wake up” a bit more as he gets older. Here’s what’s been on my radar this week: ONE // Neely & Chloe x Petite Keep I have Petite Keep trunks for both of my boys and I was thrilled to see Neely & Chloe’s collaboration with them because it was just what I was looking for! I am turning mine into the perfect ..read more

I almost forgot how much of a difference an extra hour of sunlight in the evening makes! Having daylight savings back, has been so nice this week. Somehow my work day feels shorter and I love getting to squeeze in an evening family walk after dinner before the sun sets. We’re supposed to have some beautiful weather coming up this weekend, and needless to say I plan to get in as much outdoor time as possible to enjoy the fresh air! I stumbled across some super cute new activewear pieces this week, and had to share! Lot’s of cute pickleball pieces that have me eager to get back on the court this ..read more

Another week, another batch of outfits I wore. I am so glad I’m doing these posts again because it’s pushing me to put on regular clothes every day I definitely feel better when I like what I’m wearing! LAST WEEK’S WIN: The biggest win is just realizing that we’re doing the whole “two kid” thing. Granted one is a sleepy newborn who loves to eat and snooze, but I feel like we’re figuring it out. I have been able to get the kids in and out of the car by myself, really without any issues, so that feels very huge to me. Also seeing Jack love on Rory is the very best and, honestly!, no one gets big ..read more

BORAM POSTNATAL RETREAT REVIEW
Carly the Prepster

2w ago
I was graciously invited to stay at Boram, a Korean-inspired postnatal retreat in NYC located in the Thompson Hotel in NYC. I was asked to share a Reel and stories on Instagram in exchange for my stay, but I had so many DMs about how it was from followers that I wanted to write a blog post with my full Boram Postnatal Retreat review. It was, in short, wonderful and something I hope will be available to all mothers. Honestly, I don’t even know if I can fully explain how incredible this was and how many different offerings the Boram Postnatal Retreat provides, but I’ll do my best! And leave a co ..read more
