I love watching darts, any tournament and play a little too. However I find the premier league boring as hell. I feel it takes all the spark out of the big match ups seeing as Smith will play Humphries, then do so the week after. Littler has been brought in but even so the format makes it so repetitive. I am a fairly new player, playing for approximately 3 1/2 months. I have managed to hit 3 180s so far. Occasionally I can score very well but more often than not I struggle to remain consistent, typically drifting well above the treble 20 etc. Does the higher level of consistency tend to come purely by putting in the hours of practice over a long period of time, ultimately developing muscle memory or rather by improving the mental aspect of the game, concentration etc. Perhaps it is a combination of both.
