Hey folks! ? I’m excited to share my latest project: HabitTracker.top. It’s a cozy corner of the internet where habit enthusiasts can find free resources to build their favorite habit tracker, whether it’s simple printable habit tracker templates, more complex pen and paper methods like Bullet Journals, or even digital solutions like building a habit tracker with Notion or Google Sheets. All resources are free, and I created most of them myself from scratch. I also developed an indie habit tracker app for iOS, which is free to use, albeit with some limitations. Well, that’s it. I would love t ..read more

I know, I know, there are million habit building apps out there. But I believe the one I'm working on is different... and way more fun. But you tell me: would you use this? Creatures of Habit is a Pokémon-style habit building app where the only way to train your creatures is by training with them. Want to be the very best? Run, walk, lift, meditate and more in order to help your creatures gain experience, level up and compete! I'm hard at work on this app now, but would love love love your feedback on this idea and what would make it exciting and motivating for you! submitted by /u/dekitchen ..read more

Hey everyone, this post is going to cover the most up to date daily routine of the great Andrew Huberman I could find. Let’s get started. Morning Andrew wakes up naturally with no alarm clock around 6:00 to 6:30 AM. He will then usually write the time which he woke up in his journal. After getting ready for the day, Dr. Huberman likes to immediately go outside to get some natural sunlight. Andrew claims this natural sunlight can greatly benefit your physical and mental health in many ways. After this, Andrew will typically go inside to have his Athletic Greens and/or water with a pack of LMNT ..read more

Free research-based app for quitting bad habits

I've been working with a couple different psychologists on my app Neurture (for Apple and Android) that uses neuroscience, research-based therapeutic modalities, and a judgment free assistant to help you quit or reduce unwanted habits. As someone that has beaten myself up over how I use technology (and other unwanted habits of mind) I've designed this for people like me. I'm always looking feedback and ways to help more people with whatever habits you're trying to drop. I hope this can help a few people out there! I'm happy to take any questions you have about it. submitted by /u/readwriteex ..read more

When you wake up in the morning, your brain & body are dehydrated after 8+ hours without water -- which means that you're more sluggish, less motivated, less energized for your morning workout, etc. You can solve this with the world's easiest life hack: Keep a giant bottle of water on your nightstand, and chug the whole thing the second you wake up. Like, drink even more than it "feels" like you need. Over the next 5-30 minutes absorbing the H20, you'll quickly be restored to your optimal state of hydration. This is so much more effective than coffee (which you really shouldn't start drin ..read more

I think that having one really helps to identify bad habits. Therefore, I created a list and decided to share them with you to get advices and improve. • Using phone after waking up; • Having breakfast for more than 30 minutes while watching content online and feeling unproductive after it; • High screen time on Instagram, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube; • Biting nails and lips too often; • Playing videogames (although not very often, but when I do it I’m fully invested into it for days); • Not journaling very often; • Not doing much sports or workout; • Going to sleep too late and then waking up ..read more

I used to have a huge issue with procrastination. It stifled my productivity, clouded my goals, and even impacted my self-esteem. However, I'm here to share my story of overcoming it, hoping to light the way for others struggling with the same. The Breaking Point My journey began when I hit rock bottom - missing deadlines, letting down loved ones, and watching my dreams fade. I realized that change wasn't just necessary; it was urgent. Step 1: Acknowledgment and Acceptance The first step to overcoming any issue is acknowledging it. I started keeping a journal, noting every instance I procrast ..read more
