As part of our 25th anniversary celebratory events, on Saturday 3rd August, we are co-organising an outreach event with the team of Southwark Cathedral at this venerable venue in London entitled ‘Experience the Christian Orthodox Tradition: An Ecumenical Encounter’. Our Institute has commissioned a new icon from UK-based renowned iconographer and Research Associate of IOCS, Aidan Hart (https://aidanharticons.com/) to mark the 25th anniversary of IOCS, Cambridge. Aidan has had over 40 years of experience in the field of iconography, having published and taught on the theme both from a theoretical/theological, but also from a practical point of view.
