Melvar gladly welcomed me into his home (while his brother ran and hid downstairs) with such a friendly greeting. This tabby cat is such an attentive and kind boy. Damien looks just like a little lion! With his fluffy mane, mature face, and huge paws, he looks ready to protect his kingdom… but maybe only once he wakes up from his nap. Those whiskers! Willow is a petite kitty who makes up for her size with her giant swooping whiskers. She is such a sweet soul and so exceptionally friendly! Cammie is a very sweet, but also very shy girl. Her human dad has considered putting her in the calendar for a few years but was worried about how she’d react to having her photograph taken. This year we took the plunge, and Cammie did great! Cammie was a little annoyed that I was in her home and refused to make eye contact with me, but I appreciate that this sweet girl let me be in her presence. Barnaby definitely knew how to work the humans. If we wanted photos of him, it required a lot of snacks! Once the treats came out, he was happy to dance for us. He could have danced all day if the ham didn’t run out. Barnaby has such neat colouring in that he’s nearly symmetrical other than the splatter of black on his nose and chin! This was my second time photographing Carl, and I can’t believe he’s the same cat! The first year he appeared in the calendar, he made it clear I could only photograph him from one room away (because I was a VERY scary dangerous lady). Dot was a little cautious when I first came over, but once her mom whipped out some favorite toys, it was like I was a regular fixture in the house! She is so expressive when she is hunting, and absolutely adorable! I love the beautiful facial divide she has in her tortie colouring. The contrast looks so cute with her white toes! Beau was ready to pose for his calendar photos and greeted me the moment I came in the door! This friendly cat was quick to start posing and showing off his fluffy tummy. He has such a unique looking face, from his chubby cheeks to his perfectly outlined nose. Beau really has quite a mane too!
