The 17th Annual Diaconal Liturgical Practicum of the Orthodox Church in America’s Diaconal Vocations Program (DVP) will be held at Saint Seraphim of Sarov Cathedral, Santa Rosa, CA July 15-19, 2024. On April 2-4, 2024, the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America met for its Regular Spring 2024 Session in Springfield, VA, under the presidency of His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon. The meetings of the Synod were preceded by a special joint meeting in which the Bishops were joined by the Church Officers, the Diocesan Chancellors, the General Counsel, and representatives of the Pension Board. As has been previously announced, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon will be presiding at the Rite of Preparation of Holy Chrism during the Vesperal Divine Liturgy of Great and Holy Thursday, May 2, 2024, at St. Tikhon’s Monastery.
