Today, we have a community meeting about our road and how to improve it. HERE WE GO! This is amazing to me… and sharp on bare feet! I love this. Clever. I need this. Today, I continue with the taxes thing… sigh. HERE WE GO! I know, I know, but I laughed.. Mama is exhausted … I’m sure there are more puppies somewhere! Made me laugh… Wow! I wish they would have done that here in Grass Valley, CA. We had a lake in the Brunswick area, and they drained it to build the freeway through it. Sad. I love this cabin. Wow! That ‘atmospheric river’ you might have heard about that ripped through CA – was real.  My trees have the scars to prove it. THE WIND was beyond what I’ve ever witnessed around here.  Truly. In the afternoon, before the huge winds came in, I had one leg through the fence and the other raised to follow.  WHOOP!  A wind gust pushed me into the fence post.  That has never happened before.  A sign of things to come… Yup. Today, I start my taxes.  Ugh.  You, too?! HERE WE GO! I thought this was a good idea and might work for some of you… pallets, mats and shavings. I don’t know if pallets are strong enough, but seems to work.  There must be plywood on top of the pallets. So this owl is flying with a horse-head stick toy… Made me laugh. So cozy to me.
