Four ‘Canes are drafted, including Kamren Kinchens in round three of the 2024 NFL Draft.
The Miami Hurricanes had a disappointing draft weekend, but did see safety Kamren Kinchens drafted in the 3rd round. Kinchens, a junior out of Miami-Northwestern Senior High School in Miami, FL was selected by the Los Angeles Rams with the 99th overall selection.

Thursday was a tough day for ‘Canes Hoops. Within a matter of hours, core contributors Norchad Omier, Wooga Poplar, and Kyshawn George all announced their departure from Coral Gables.
Norchad Omier entered the NBA Draft last year, but withdrew from the draft after his good but not great performance at the NBA G League Elite Camp did not result in an invite to the NBA Draft Combine. Omier showed great improvement last year, particularly in his long-range shooting and ball handling, earning 2nd Team All ACC Honors. Omier again entered his name into the NBA Draft, b ..read more

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTTTTT’SSSSSSSSSSSSSSS MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And you fine folks know what that means. It’s time to hop into the cockpit, strap in, start the countdown, and blast off into the stratosphere of Miami Hurricanes-related thoughts sifting around inside my brain.
1) It’s NFL Draft week. And yes, at least two Miami Hurricanes - and hopefully more - will hear their name called this weekend in Detroit. Those two are Kamren Kinchens and Leonard Taylor III. Kinchens was electric two years ago. Not quite as much last year. He also didn’t do much to help ..read more

The Miami Hurricanes are in desperate need of a top flight running back and could use help in other areas as well.
The Miami Hurricanes have concluded the 2024 spring football ‘season’ and are heading into the summer with a bright outlook for the fall. Miami has a top-10 roster in Blue Chip Ratio, the top-three coaches on staff returning, and an elite transfer QB behind center.
But, there’s always the desire for more! And Miami certainly has a few holes to fill via injuries and the transfer portal flowing out instead of in. The Hurricanes are currently fair ..read more

The Miami Hurricanes’ spring game was held on Saturday at Cobb Stadium. As I will be away from my computer on Monday, I’m going to go ahead and offer up my thoughts and observations on it now. Consider these my ahead-of-Monday Musings, y’all.
Let’s get to it.
First Half
Cam Ward’s first pass was a completion to Xavier Restrepo on a comeback route. Do with that information what you will. It was a well thrown ball with zip and anticipation. Love to see that.
A few plays later, he found X again, and 7 broke free from Jadais Richards’ attempt ..read more
