Helen Esmonde discovers the wonders of working with wood, celebrated by craftspeople of all ages at the inspirational “Celebrating British Craft” exhibition organised by the Guild of Master Craftsmen, in association with Axminster. British Woodturner of the Year winners announced at Celebrating British Craft exhibition The winners of the 2019 British Woodturner of the Year Competition, run in association with Axminster Tools & Machinery, were announced at the Celebrating British Craft exhibition, held at the Oxo Tower in London from 8th May -19th May. Lewis Small, Wilf Floor Lamp Breakthrough design talent from across the UK came together in London on 10 October 2018 to exhibit for one day only at The Furniture Makers’ Company’s annual Young Furniture Makers exhibition.
