My IUD is falling out the day after I got it.

I already called my doctor, just waiting for a response. I’m not in any pain but it seems like my body is just pushing it out and I can feel the end of it coming out of my cervix. Does this mean an IUD just isn’t going to work for me? That would suck after going through all the stress and pain to get it. submitted by /u/saturnalia- [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Scoured through the sub to see something but sadly didn’t find much which is not really helping my anxiety. I stopped birth control pills ( Yaz) in February 16th so it’s been about a little over 2.5 months. So I know I’m definitely going through it and still in the thick of it as I was on it for about 8 years before this, my entire twenties essentially almost. My symptoms are insane rn like I just don’t feel any better. Or even if I do I don’t see it objectively as much. Granted I’m going through a lot of circunstancial issues in life too and compounded with stopping my antidepressants about ..read more

Phantom periods on Slynd?

I’ve been on Slynd for about a year now. My migraines and anxiety are better on this pill compared to the one I was on before (Yasmin) but my cramps tend to be worse. My bleeding has been irregular since I started taking it, I know that’s common with POPs. I bleed for a few days every 4-8 weeks and often I have mild spotting in between. Sometimes I have what I call a “phantom period” where I have all my PMS symptoms like breast tenderness, cramps, moodiness, fatigue etc but just no bleeding. The cramps especially don’t always correlate with bleeding. This has happened a few times over the las ..read more

What happens if you're starting the process of pregnancy and you get the depo shot?

So I had intercourse with my boyfriend like on a Saturday and then 5 days later (on a Wednesday) got the depo shot. I'm concerned this would affect a pregnancy that was processing without me knowing. I talked about my concern to the lady who was giving me the depo shot and she gave me a pregnancy test and told me to wait until may 9th. I'm not sure if she was just stupid to give it to me if in reality I won't be pregnant or if I'm just tripping right now submitted by /u/la_princesa_yuri [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

IUD causing boob cyst?

Definitely not the first time I’m having problems with my side boob getting lumpy, bumpy & painful. But with a few mammograms, ultrasounds & a biopsy it was determined that I have fibrocystic boobs & benign calcifications in that one specific spot. 4 weeks into Kyleena IUD & it seems to be triggering that same area almost daily. (it use to only flare up on my period) I thought since the IUD has no estrogen it wouldn’t affect my boobs. Did this happen to anyone else? If so, did it go away? I do not want to bring it up to my doctor if it turns out to be nothing & totally norm ..read more

My girlfriend had her period 2 weeks early today. Pregnant or paranoid?

Hi guys. I’m posting for my girlfriend because she doesn’t have Reddit and doesn’t want to make an account. She started a new brand of birth control on 4/22 and we had unprotected sex 6 days later on 4/28. I didn’t realize that I think after starting a new brand you’re meant to wait a week, but we only waited 5-6 days. Today 5 days later she started her period early and we’re both freaking out, she should’ve started it in 2 weeks, not today. Could she be pregnant or are we both just paranoid? Please help us out because this might be the realest scare we’ve had. submitted by /u/Puzzleheaded-O ..read more

Norethisterone in Canada

Hi! I am a Canadian trying to get access to norethisterone with no luck so far. I've seen tons of post on reddit about this drug being used to delay a period by a few days, it seems like its pretty normal and common place, but I've tried 2 GP's and an online birth control prescription service with no luck. They either don't know what I'm talking about or refuse to prescribe it to me, claiming that it is only used to treat endo. I'm super stressed out because my wedding is in 3 months and I'm supposed to get my period that day - and I am willing to do anything to avoid that because on the firs ..read more
