I came off the pill this summer in August due to a hiccup with insurance covering my POP pill and not wanting to pay out of pocket for it-- took a break from the pill out of sheer laziness if we're honest. I was taking Norithendrone for about two years to balance out hormones. Has anyone else since coming off the pill noticed weight gain? I know there are several factors that have gone into this "problem" for myself (such as environmental stress and bad habits recently acquired). Has anyone else dealt with weight gain after coming off the pill? What other changes have you noticed about yo ..read more

What is everyone’s experience starting Yaz? Is my experience ‘normal’ or should I speak with my Dr? Month 1: high anxiety, high depression, low appetite, low sex drive. Overall a miserable time. Month 2: I felt great. Honestly I felt better than I did before starting yaz. I was happy, no mood swings, my appetite came back, and sex drive was higher than usual. Month 2 placebo: starting my placebos from month 2, the first day of the placebos was fine. The second day of placebos through the now 3rd day of active pill. I have been feeling extremely irritable and have been experiencing waves of pu ..read more

I'm not sure if I should call then and ask for Yasmin or is there any difference in them? Can you please let me know! I know this is very specific, but has anyone been switched from Loestrin to Lo Loestrin by their provider and experienced suicidal & self harm thoughts? It's wild because they're so similar, but my anxiety and depression have absolutely worsened because of it. If you have any experience with this, please please let me know. (And ofc, I am addressing with my gyno and psych!) submitted by /u/Sunfl0weryell0w [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How to regulate hormones towards end of IUD life

For context I'm 24F, had the Mirena IUD since I was 19, I'm starting to have issues with being hormonal on it. For the longest time I had no issues, no monthly dips nothing up until September of last year. I've had to be put on extra BC due to spotting which went away, stopped taking it within the same month of starting. However I'm getting strong dips in my mood and energy. I know it's hormones because it's not consistent, it lasts for a small amount of time and I'm back to normal. Has anyone dealt with this and if so how can I regulate my hormones without having to take it out? I'm trying t ..read more
