I tried day trading a few times at the website "marketwatch" with virtual money, and got over +%50 in short periods of time in all of my attempts (no knowledge, mostly gambling, my whole thinking process was like hmm this should be going up/down) so I decided to try it with real money. I gathered some money that I was saving over the years (around 2k dollars) and now I am looking for a reliable website and some advices preferably from experienced (day)traders. Also I am looking for the link of the discord server which was mentioned by one mod in one of the top posts in this sub, I'd appreciat ..read more

I am learning about arbitrage trading and came got to know that you can buy a stock let's say from NASDAQ and sell it on NYSE (right?). But I'm not able to understand how does this work actually.
In my country we get the stocks deposited in out account on the next day, so this is not possible here.
How does it work in the US?
*apologies if the question might not be clear

Hey everyone!
Been trading about 8 years, and still have the occasional day where I know for multiple reasons I should logout and stop trading, either a huge gain, a couple losses, choppy price action etc. Il tell myself pretty quickly, okay that's it for today, shut things down... and 10 mins later im logging back in putting on more trades.
Do any of you know of some 3rd party app where I can open it at will, say "lock me out of (Trading broker) until 5PM today." Or something similar?
The ones I have seen let you set windows of time where you get locked out at a certain time of day, but I wa ..read more

Hey everyone,
I’ve, like everyone else, been using trademind.ca a lot recently—if you’ve been living under a rock (or not on TikTok lol) it’s basically "ChatGPT for stocks.” It’s making me seriously rethink the future of trading. AI is remarkably good at sifting through data and predicting trends, often seeming to operate on a level far beyond human capability.
Here’s where it gets unsettling: What if AI advances to the point where it completely replaces human traders? Imagine a scenario where algorithms make all the critical decisions, driving the market with a precision that humans can't ma ..read more

Hi guys, i am going to start with i m leaving trading and going to focus on something else. I trade stocks and crude oil. I dont know why but it feels like i am not able to see the results i should. I am not in much loss, close to break even. But i feel like it is working for everyone but not for me. My strategy is simple.. find a reversal on 1 day renko. Mark the reversal.. move to candle sticks.. mark the accumulation or consolidation zone .. breakout and retest on lower timeframe 1hr usually and enter the market. It works around 60% time. With good 1:2 RR, i am fine with it. But somehow i ..read more

Hi! I am an ex-prop shop equity trader.
This is a daily watchlist for trading: I might trade all/none of the stocks listed, and even stocks not listed! I only hold MAG7/market indices long-term. If you use Old Reddit, click “Show Images” at the top to expand the charts. Any positions stated aren’t recommendations, I’m following subreddit rules to disclose positions.
Some stocks I post may be <$500M market cap. These are potentially good candidates to day trade; I have no opinion on them as investments. PLEASE ask specific questions. Questions like “Thoughts on _____?” or “Is ___ a good ..read more

Data Quadrant award winners are founded in "100% user review data" and comes solely from feedback their researchers receive from IT and business professionals. I like this approach, as it does without components such as market presence and analyst opinion, which can be opaque - and influenced by vendor pressure, financial or otherwise.
The cybersecurity space is booming - and at top of the business and public mind, especially with the CrowdStrike (CRWD) lapse of ..read more

A company is interviewing candidates for day trader jobs, and maybe after training and verified, they will give you $10k a day to trade?
They are getting students and people with part time jobs. I'm not sure if it's a scam - they haven't asked me for money yet.
I would have thought all these recruitment would be all online?
