Why doesn't my trade show on the daily volume

Posting becasue im confused but also alittle frustated. This is Canada btw. I placed a trade for X amount and can see it was filled on my transaction history. When i look at the daily volume for the stock i do not see an increase, i watch the name closely, it is an illiquid stock so its very easy to see if i have contributed to X amount of volume. Why i care is becasue: Curiorsity, When the name isnt showing more buys and increase in price, it makes speculating on these names useless submitted by /u/zarconi [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

So I'm a trader, and I practice trade every day. I'm coming down off a high (420), and I'm genuinely asking, do you think traders would find it interesting to see a series of someone practice trading while high? This is not veiled promotion, I genuinely want to know if this is something people would want to watch. submitted by /u/AsshatsFables [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Thursday's Markets Update (April 25, 2024)

12h ago
On Thursday, stocks recovered after falling at opening as GDP growth came in much weaker than expected at 1.6%, while inflation remained high. Disappointing earnings from Meta and IBM added to the morning's dump. Globally, the yen hit a new high at 155, faced with a rising dollar, while Brent stabilized at 88 due to a temporary pause in the Middle East situation. BTC and ETH lingered above 64.7 and 3.1 after Wednesday's slump. The rest of the crypto market was mostly in the green, with Uniswap and Polygon adding up to 3%. Step-by-step instructions for deploying an algorithmic trading strategy without code

Hey guys, I'm developing a no-code AI-Powered algorithmic trading platform. Unlike other platforms that you might read about on TikTok, my platform isn't a "trading bot"; it doesn't make decisions for you. It provides a comprehensive suite of tools to learn how to trade yourself. I noticed that many of my users got "analysis paralysis" after creating an account. They weren't really sure how to get started. So I've been working diligently these past few months to improve the onboarding process. Here's a link to my most recent article. I'm really curious to get feedback from you guys! submitte ..read more

Best Crypto Prop Firms for the US?

I have been doing a lot of training and practicing recently so I am gonna be looking to get into a Prop Firm soon to test myself with real-ish money. I am really into crypto as it is so that is what I am focused on learning to trade but I am not sure what Prop Firm I can use. I heard of HyroTrader which sounded like an amazing option but they only have funded accounts on Bybit which is unavailable to the U.S. Are there any other similar crypto prop firms that allow Kraken or Coinbase as a broker? or is there any way to get around the Bybit restrictions? submitted by /u/unequivocallybussing ..read more

Professional Market Watcher - Need Input

I've been super hesitant to make this post, but my best friend can be convincing so I'm giving it a shot. I'll get right into it - I've been trying to day and or swing trade (market watcher!) for 10 years or so. At one of my lower points I convinced myself that Warrior Trading was the key to my success and completely wasted money as I was never able to get any benefits from their training. From there I did a lot of FOMO trading blowing up accounts trading DRIP/GUSH then some STUPID penny stocks that were supposed to be huge money makers. After that I was resided to the fact that I only wa ..read more

These are the stocks on my watchlist (4/25)

This is a daily watchlist for trading. I might trade all of the stocks on here, or none of them, on any given day. I might trade stocks that don't appear on here! I hold no positions in any stocks long-term but Amazon/Mag7/general broad market indices. (unless otherwise noted in these tickers). If you’re on old reddit, click “show images” at the top to see all the charts quickly. I usually make these watchlists premarket, (or from 6:30 to 7 as time permits), but can be delayed if I'm trading the open. These aren't mean to be taken as gospel or any recommendation to buy/sell. Many stocks I ..read more

iPhone/ iPad/ Apple Watch user here, but i have a pc at the office which I truly enjoy using for serious stuff. I’d like to stick to Windows for work stuff and trading is no exception, but a lot of people tell me I should stick with Apple. I have an old beaten MacBook Air that needs a new battery, but most likely it’s time to buy a new one, whether pc or Mac. What you say ? submitted by /u/Pannolanza [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
