We got a little throttle happy with our 2023 KTM 300XC-W test bike. To our surprise, we managed to log almost 200 hours (191 to be exact) of trail time on the completely stock unit in about a seven-month timespan. We still can’t believe it, but all those missed deadlines make sense now. We teamed up with AEO Powersports, REP Suspension, Race Winning Brands, Bulletproof Designs and a host of other industry-leading companies to completely rebuild this 2023 KTM 300XC-W. Ray Rodden from Kinetic Ride Company was the man behind the wrenches on this project. Usually, when we start a build, the bike ..read more

The 2025 models are arriving almost daily. We picked up our 2025 Husqvarna FC450 test bike two weeks ago, but we didn’t have our first chance to ride it until Thursday. This bike has few surprises, even though it’s very different from last year’s version. We already tested the 2025 KTM 450SX-F, which has the same frame and motor. Both bikes have the frame updates that we first saw on the Factory Edition and Rockstar edition a few months ago. Mark Tilley on the 2025 Husky FC450 The biggest bullet point is that the frame is more compliant than last year’s version. Husqvarna took away material a ..read more

We are the first ones to admit that sometimes we go a little overboard on project bike builds. On this week’s 2-Stroke Tuesday we give you a quick look at our latest KTM125 Off-Road project. For this years 3-Bros 10 Hour Endurance Race held at Glen Helen Raceway we decided to take a different approach. We teamed up with Bob Tryon from Stoney Sock Co. to build a real world 125cc two-stroke for his son Carson Tryon and his buddies to race. Here is what the bike looked like after 10 hours of racing.  Right after someone mentions participating in any sort of endurance team race the very nex ..read more

The Wiseco Two-Stroke World Championship presented by Fasthouse at Glen Helen Raceway in Southern California has grown into a destination event for a huge amount of the two-stroke faithful crowd, almost like a yearly pilgrimage. In 2023, the Dirt Bike Magazine staff was fortunate enough to be a part of the first-ever “Live Feed” on YouTube in bringing a professionally filmed event to the world. 2024 HONDA CRF450RWE, FULL TEST
DIrt Bike Magazine

They say that Jett Lawrence is so good, he’s the worst thing to happen to pro motocross in years. We’ll stay out of that debate, but we know this: the Honda CRF450RWE is one of the best things to happen to amateur motocross. The “WE” in the suffix stands for “Works Edition,” meaning that the bike is a replica of—or, more precisely, a tribute to—Jett Lawrence’s factory bike. There are, of course, several layers to any bike being presented as a factory replica. At the most fundamental level, the WE is like Jett’s bike. Since 1986, AMA Pro Racing has had a production rule requiring that all race ..read more

The second half of the 2024 Pro Motocross Championship, sanctioned by AMA Pro Racing, officially got underway on Saturday with the series’ annual visit to the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” and the dynamic layout of legendary Spring Creek MX Park. The FXR Spring Creek National Presented by Frescados Tortillas signified Round 7 of the summer campaign, where high humidity and temperatures in the mid-80’s gave way to late thunderstorms to present arguably the most challenging race conditions of the season.
