Total electrical novice with an electrical problem. 1993 R100 started then suddenly quit. Toggled kill switch but nothing. Then checked and no spark to either plug. Pulled the tank and disconnected and reconnected every connector, all are tight and clean. Wesco battery shows 12.7 v but is 12 years old so I replaced it. Toggled kill switch with plugs out but connected to wires and grounded on engine, no spark. Replace bean can and module with new Wedgetail system, no spark. Ohm between the... Read more ..read more

My bike has been at the dealer for the last 17 days (600 miles service and XM/AM antenna issues). The dealer just sent me this photo of the "FIX" for the XM that BMW has them installing. It looks like a Sirrus branded XM antenna, on the right. They're rerouting the wire because it's shorter than the stock one. Waiting to hear more about the AM issue from them. Nothing was happening after complaining and talking/emailing BMW-USA countless times, until I sent my videos of... Read more ..read more

Steering Stop Guards? I didn’t know they were such a thing until I had to Google “Broken Steering Stop”. My 2019 GS 1250 with 60K miles on was recently totaled out by Progressive, in part, due to a cracked steering stop. Here’s a 3 ½ minute video about what happened and my attempt to prevent this from happening to the new bike. Hello everyone, New to MOA but not new to the moto world BMW. Why it took me so long to join, not sure. I have been riding since I was a young kid when my dad started me off on a 50cc Kawasaki. Fast forward to the BMWs, started off on a 2012 GS1200 and moved through a '16 R1200R, '22 K1600GT, traded it off last fall after a deer tried to take me out for a '23 GS1250 and while I was at it traded the razor off on a S1000RR! Bad time of the year for getting miles in on a new bike or two... Read more ..read more
