Bastian Schweinsteiger says Manchester United’s recruitment teams can learn A LOT from how Jurgen Klopp has managed to rebuild Liverpool during his time in charge.

By contrast Liverpool have managed to assemble under Klopp successful teams featuring a host of undervalued signings.

We asked Liverpool fans to pick from three centre-back targets this summer - and there was a clear winner. Can the Reds win the race to sign him, though?
Liverpool will almost certainly enter the market for a centre-back this summer. Joel Matip is coming to the end of his contract at Anfield, for one thing, and will need replacing.
But on top of that, the Reds' managerial targets tend to play with a back three. Liverpool would need extra squad depth to make that work.

Liverpool are trying to sign one of the hottest prospects at Barcelona right now. The Reds are far from the only side looking at this transfer, though.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Liverpool are one of several clubs working on a plan to sign Barcelona defender Mikayil Faye. The 19-year-old currently plays for their B team.
Barcelona intend to promote Faye to their senior side next season and he has even sat among the substitutes for Xavi's side this term. He's impressed enough - including winning his first Senegal cap - and is reportedly seen as one of their future stars.

Liverpool's Europa League journey came to an end as they were eliminated in the quarter-finals by Italian side Atalanta on Thursday night. Despite securing a 1-0 victory on the night, the damage was already done for Liverpool in the first leg at Anfield a week earlier, leading to a 3-1 defeat on aggregate.
Jurgen Klopp's team faced a daunting task as they arrived in Bergamo, but the evening began positively. Mohamed Salah put the Reds ahead after just seven minutes, converting from the penalty spot.
However, Salah then spurned a clear chance to make it 2-0 on the night when he chipped the ball ..read more

Jurgen Klopp broke a Liverpool club record with one decision against Atalanta in the UEFA Europa League. He even managed to extend it.
Jurgen Klopp saw out his final European night with Liverpool on Thursday - and it was a miserable one. The Reds needed to win 3-0, of course, and it looked incredibly possible when Mohamed Salah converted a penalty inside seven minutes.
Only, the Reds never really offered anything after that. Salah had a golden opportunity to make it 2-0 but spurned it. Other than that, Liverpool had no great chances.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says he's not worried about Mohamed Salah's recent form despite the Egyptian forward enduring a challenging night in the Reds' Europa League exit at the hands of Atalanta on Thursday.
Liverpool's European journey came to a disappointing end as they suffered a 3-1 aggregate defeat in the quarter-finals, having lost the first leg 3-0 at Anfield.
The odds were stacked against Klopp's side heading into the return clash in Bergamo, but they made an early breakthrough when Trent Alexander-Arnold won a penalty in the fifth minute. Salah confidently converted the spot-ki ..read more

Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for one Liverpool player despite the Reds’ aggregate defeat to Atalanta on Thursday evening in the UEFA Europa League.
Jurgen Klopp watched his side bow out of Europe for the very last time on Thursday. Liverpool did win on the night, beating Atalanta 1-0 in Bergamo, but it wasn't enough.
The 3-0 defeat at Anfield last week left the Reds in a near-impossible position. However, they did offer hope early on.
