The Overwatch League is preparing for the start of the final stage of Season 2, and there is a buzz growing around a potential radical addition to the game.
Serious rumors of a 2-2-2 role lock coming to Overwatch League have gained credibility and traction after recently retired Seoul Dynasty player Baek “Fissure” Chan-hyung stated on his stream in June, “I’m retired now, so I’ll say it. Next stage, four, 2-2-2 lock is confirmed.”
Blizzard has reportedly been exploring 2-2-2 role lock as a way to remove the triple tank/triple support meta that has been prevalent during all of Season 2.

The players have only just reported back for pre-season training, so it’s a good time to look at what might happen in the English Premier League in the upcoming season.
Hopefully, we will have another close title race — with possibly a few more clubs involved — but there is a lot more to the Premier League than Manchester City, Liverpool, and Spurs.
The bottom of the league is where a lot of the excitement is, and the clubs promoted from the Championship are usually instantly installed as the favorites to go straight back down.
But there will be competition at the wrong end of the table this s ..read more

I definitely try not to put too much weight in first-year players when I prepare for my fantasy football draft each year. It’s even one of my tips on how to find fantasy football sleepers each year.
Guys like Saquon Barkley and Baker Mayfield would have been more than worth owning a year ago, but NFL rookies are often tough to predict.
Even when we spot a rookie that will be worth owning, the production can be erratic. The price to obtain them isn’t normally very palatable if they’re a good bet to produce, either.
The trick is gauging when the price is right, when to strike, and which position ..read more

“If you have to ask the price, you can’t afford it.”
Funny. For me, that often pertains to a bag of potato chips, so I like to bring along my own price gun to, um, assist the store in marketing to me more successfully. It’s a public service I’m performing.
Not buying that? Yeah, neither did the judge.
I kid. I actually own a bespoke suit, one tailored for me in Vegas, in fact. I had had a very good day at the tables, and I could think of nothing more fitting than getting fitted for an outfit. Maybe I had a couple of free drinks while I was playing, who’s to say?
It was quite the experience, an ..read more

Betting on Rafael dos Anjos to beat Leon Edwards? Or maybe you fancy Edwards to get one over on the wily Brazilian veteran?
Whoever you are backing, I’m sure you have your reasons.
Personally, I think this one is going to be a very technical fight but one that should be exciting at the same time. If betting on UFC fights wasn’t fun, the chances are that we wouldn’t be so keen to do it!
This Brazil vs. England scrap goes down at UFC on ESPN 4 on July 20 at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The bout sees former UFC lightweight champion dos Anjos looking to build on a dominant win over K ..read more

Once the NFL season ends each year, I’m hit with a pretty big wave of relief.
That means I’m done covering it on a daily basis, and the over-saturation of the NFL product can take a break from soaking up my entire existence.
It can be exhausting, but my desire to break away from the best sport in the world is a fleeting one. My withdrawals set in within a week, and once free agency and the draft heat up, the next NFL season can’t come soon enough.
Something about this offseason has actually made the separation from the game I love bearable. Perhaps it’s the insane whirlwind the NBA offseason h ..read more

“The Rangers are coming.”
Well, so they say over on the blue side of Glasgow.
There were certainly a few encouraging signs for Steven Gerrard’s team last season. Still, it wasn’t difficult to see that they were far from the full package and some way off being able to pip Celtic to the title.
Rangers’ last Scottish Premier League crown came back in 2011, prior to their well-documented financial and legal problems. Having clawed their way back into the SPL in 2016 from the third tier of Scottish soccer, The Gers have been slowly improving.
Fans have long been waiting for them to recapture their ..read more

The focus of all basketball fans is already geared toward the 2019-20 NBA regular season. A seismic shift in the powers that be is largely thanks to that, of course, but this is the natural reaction shortly after the season ends.
While there is always going to be an eye on the future, it’s worth arguing everyone is still just getting over the excitement of the 2019 NBA Draft. Considering we’ve yet to really see the top 2019 rookies tested on the hardwood, it’s tough to look too far ahead.
But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t.
Bettors everywhere know that the draft betting scene — whether it be ..read more

Dublin is the team to beat in this year’s All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.
Just as they were last year and the year before that. And the year before that, too. You might as well add 2015 to that…
Look, the point is that Ireland’s most dominant football force of the 2010s has set the benchmark for the sport. Having won four Sam Maguires in a row, Jim Gavin’s men are on the verge of making history — if they can make it to five.
In order for Dublin to be knocked off their perch, the likes of Donegal, Kerry, Tyrone, and Mayo will need to produce something special.
Then again, there are so ..read more

It shouldn’t be a surprise that Intel has skin in the esports game.
What better way to show off your products than by having them used in international gaming tournaments? The microchip company has a lot to gain from esports, so they love supporting the pro circuit.
But they aren’t giving out money for free. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive teams from all over the world will have to earn it in a rigorous four-day tournament. IEM events aren’t as regular as Starladder or DreamHack tournaments, but that just makes them all the more special.
This edition will take place in the heart of Illinois o ..read more
