So I know this is gonna sound insane, but like how do you know when a deity is reaching out or sending you signals? I’ve mulled over the idea of a deity to follow and worship for years now. And the more and more I’ve been thinking about it lately I’ve been feeling a strong connection to Athena. This is the part that might sound insane, but I play Yugioh, I play a fairy deck to be precise, the same deck for literal years now. One card that I’ve always kept thinking about try and teching in that’s not ever played in the deck has been Athena. No matter what insane idea I’ve tried for the deck I ..read more

Weird question, I know. When I was around 16, I heard that people sleep with tarot cards and crystals under their bed to bond with them. Now, at 20, I sleep next to / over anything I want to build a connection with (like now, I want to bond with my guitar and find motivation to play and practice more so I’m sleeping with it next to me) anyone else do the same thing? I find it personally helps me

I've been quite interested in Paganism for a while now, and last night I prayed for the first time in my life (to Aphrodite). I've not known what to put on her altar and I've tried to come up with a few ideas. I'm also wanting to worship and work with Apollo, so I have a few ideas for an altar for him as well. I have also made a playlist for Apollo of music I think he might like (I'll add to it once I know more about his music taste).

So I’m young and can’t really buy stuff for altars or even set up a space for one. I wanna know how I’m able to worship them and make offerings without being obvious? I really want to embrace paganism and witchcraft so any advice would be appreciated

Hi all!
So, I have little to no experience with anything spiritual or to do with paganism aside from the occasional tarot reading and being a Mormon until I was 4 aha. Though for a while I have definitely felt a pull towards these kinds of practices and I feel I’m at a point in my life that I really went to step into it finally after having been in quite a rough spot for a while.
I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to start out - like anything I should read, items I should get and just anything I should know. Im also interested in deity worship if anyone has any information on that ..read more

My roommate has been getting deeper and deeper into witchcraft and deity work for a few years now, and attempted to make contact with the Baba Yaga. We need help finding any ritual, any source, any hint of help towards getting her to leave. I’m afraid that the encounter she had will lead to spiritual psychosis, and she is terrified that the Baba Yaga is going to kill her. How do I offer her comfort? How can we assure that our home and our lives are safe?
