Dana Gas expects to obtain approval from the Egyptian Parliament for the agreement concluded with the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) at the end of this year, Mohammed Mubaideen, Head of Investor Relations at the company told CNBC Arabia. The Suez Canal Economic Zone has announced the arrival of the first green fuel container ship in the world. The ship was received by East Port Said in the first voyage of the ship, belonging to the shipping line Maersk, to an Egyptian port overlooking the eastern Mediterranean. Wintershall Dea announced that it has won a new license by the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA) to store CO2 under the seabed. The license is for the Camelot area, which is a combination of depleted gas fields and an overlying saline aquifer. ADNOC and the National Central Cooling Company PJSC (Tabreed) announced the first geothermal energy project set to decarbonize the cooling of the buildings in Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. India’s Managalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited MRPL decided to halt its refinery fuel exports in the next two to three years to expand the revenues of the local retail network. MRPL, a subsidiary of state-controlled Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC.NS), plans to expand its retail outlets in southern India to 1,800 by 2027 instead of 71 now, said Sanjay Varma, the managing director of MRPL.
