It was an era we all knew was eventually going to end but when it did, it still felt crummy. The discontinuation of the last generation Charger and Challenger left a gaping hole in the domestic performance landscape, especially the one that loves its traditional V8 engine noises and power. The large question from virtually everyone was centered around what was to fill the holes left by the end of those two models. As I sit and write this, we’re still awaiting the arrival of the next generation Charger and Dodge has largely removed itself from the vast majority of motorsports and racing activit ..read more

We’ve talked about Ring Brothers builds before, and Jay Leno has featured a few of them on his channel, but this one here is something really special. I mean who takes a classic Rolls Royce and makes it haul ass while looking nearly stock? The Ring Brothers are known for ultra high end builds, but with lots of custom features and body mods. This one here has lots of hours into the details, but all while keeping with the stock feel. Check out Jay, hauling ass in it around Burbank with both Jim and Mike Ring riding along. Video Description: You’re telling me you can hot rod a Rolls-Royce? Darn s ..read more

Can Paint Be Too Old To Polish? Or Can You Actually Shine Up A 1950’s Car With Original Paint? Dan From DD Speed Shop Gives It A Try!

When folks hear that a muscle car, classic, or classic truck has original paint it is usually a good thing. But we sometimes assume that original paint is still shiny and at least pretty good looking. The truth is that there are lots of cars out there with original paint that is NOT shiny. Hell, my 1956 Chevrolet station wagon looks like you drug it out of a field this morning, and doesn’t have a single shiny spot on it. But every body part, with the exception of the hood, has the original paint on it. I doubt mine could be polished back to life, without applying a clear coat. But what if the ..read more

I know that people are always claiming things are the best, most fun, or most exciting whenever they post a YouTube video, but when Finnegan says this is the most fun he’s had in a car in a very long time, he’s telling the truth. I know this because he sent a text message telling me so and then I watched the video and it’s awesome. When my buddy Bigun, aka Eric Yost, became one of the owner of Mooresville Dragway we talked about all the plans they had there and this right here was one of them. This is a rally cross style road coarse on dirt and as you can see this is one hell of a way to have ..read more

Cordless tools have become some of the most powerful and convenient in industries of all kinds. Clearly we care about the automotive enthusiasts and DIY crowd, but you can’t argue with the impact that cordless tools have had on a myriad of blue collar jobs. But one of the things that sucks about cordless tools is the batteries. The tools themselves are often very reasonably priced, but the batteries and chargers can cost serious coin. And if you have a whole cabinet full of Milwaukee tools, but then a DeWalt comes out that you just have to have, you have to go and buy batteries and a charger f ..read more

Steel Commander Superbike Race 1 at Road Atlanta 2024 – FULL RACE Video Showing Just How Nuts These Guys Really Are!

Road Atlanta is one of those road courses that people either seem to love or hate. Some drivers find it to be fast, fun, and exciting, with some interesting spots that test your nerve or skill, and sometimes both. But motorcycle racers are a whole other level. I don’t mean to sound disrespectful, but sometimes I wonder if these guys have the sense God gave a goat because the stuff they do seems insane. And I’m not sure that insane is even a strong enough word sometimes. So with that said, I want you to watch the Superbike Race video from Road Atlanta and tell me whether or not you have the sto ..read more
