Hi guys, I was considering getting laser down the line and I was wondering if a clit piercing could get in the way of a brazilian. Do piercings interfere with laser? Would you have to take them out? submitted by /u/shycutiekittie [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I've had problematic ingrowns in the past so this was recommended by a dermatologist a couple years ago and so far i'm been happy with the results but just not the process. I purchased a package for laser hair removal for the entire bikini area and no matter what I do it's painful. I've managed to complete all sessions but I definitely need more. Some areas feel like nothing, some feel like a small flick and some...oh my god, I'm sorry but I think getting hit by a speeding truck would be less painful. When I spoke to my provider they said, "We can turn the power down but we'll have to increas ..read more

When is it safe enough?

Second post here! My last post mentioned about if buying laser packages was worth it or not. This post, I’m looking to see if a tech could answer. I’ll be going to laser clinics so, though a tech from another company is fine but if you also work for laser clinics that’s helpful! I could not find it on the site when booking or even under before and after care, but when is it safe enough to do a green peel/light chemical peel between sessions? Is it three weeks before your next session fine? I’m going laser only on my face right now but also looking to get rid of my acne scars with a peel. Just ..read more

So I’m on my 3rd laser session ( cynosure elite iq), and I’m doing whole legs, armpits and bikini, it worked really well on most but the lip area of my bikini never shed once and it regrows the same . I’m worried I’m doing this for nothing, I already asked my laser therapist and she said ok and started to work. Pls can someone explain why this is happening even after 3 sessions and some advice on what to do . submitted by /u/throwaway1312111009 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Success after one treatment?

My mom told me she had laser hair removal done way back in the 90s and after one session the hair removal was permanent. I’ve also heard people say that a few treatments of laser makes the hair much less thick, but too many sessions can make it thicker. Would it be possible to do a couple sessions on an area with thick growth (lower back, Brazilian) and just see a reduction of hair growth instead of a full removal? Honestly I would find that preferable to getting a full series of treatments and being completely hairless or risking it growing back thicker. submitted by /u/Manic-pixie-memegirl ..read more

Laser pain question

Hi everyone! I am not sure if this has ever been discussed in this group before but i have a couple questions. My laser tech who i just had my 8th session with, uses the Soprano Ice laser. It had been an overall great experience, and completely pain free. My question is probably strange, but whenever i read people talking about their laser experience on this page or in real life it is usually the opposite experience to what i have. Usually the person says it is at least somewhat painful and they have minor redness/a reaction after the sessions. I am having results everytime i have a session b ..read more

I have been dying to get my legs done for a long time. But I'm also planning a pregnancy late this year or early next year. There is a place near me where I can get 4 sessions done for $400. Do I just do it? Or will it all come back with the hormone changes in pregnancy? submitted by /u/Mysterious_Bet_6856 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Like I was recommended 'come back in 25 days'. I have a small operation right then, so should I laser earlier or later? What do you guys think? submitted by /u/kittykitty_katkat [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
