After watching this video I decided to transcribe what the maker of the video suggested were mechanisms of our play that Arteta exploited successfully. Full credit Here is the video
Firstly, Arteta knew most of our players are poor building from the back. Mainly our available centre backs Diasi, Badiashile and Goalkeeper Petrovic. As a result Caicedo would try to pick up the ball in a single pivot.

When did you start supporting Chelsea FC? What was your favourite memory?
I started back in 1999 when I was 9 years old. I still remember, somehow LOL, watching TV and these seemingly shiny blue jerseys playing on a sunny day somewhere in England. I was still in Bangladesh at the time. My childlike mind said “okay since my blue is my favourite colour, this is now my favourite football team” ? never regretted it since.
