Would Theo Johnson or Ja’Tavion Sanders interest the Rams?
With rumors swirling before and after the first round of the draft that the Los Angeles Rams wanted to trade up for Brock Bowers if they could, the question to follow is whether or not Sean McVay has his eyes on any other tight ends in the draft. Especially because as we all know by now, the best tight ends in the NFL are rarely the best tight ends in the NFL draft.
Before we get to the remaining tight ends in the 2024 draft class, read these two scouting reports from the past:

Who could we see the Rams select on Friday evening? With one second-round pick and two third rounders, Brugler has LA taking a wide receiver, safety, and quarterback:

The Rams reportedly wanted Brock Bowers, but were just as happy with Jared Verse
The Los Angeles Rams made a first round pick for the first time since 2016 and though Jared Verse is considered by some to be a top edge rusher in the draft, NFL Network’s Peter Schrager shared that the Rams were also interested in trading up for Georgia tight end Brock Bowers.
The Rams had an offensive player they had their eyes on through the entire process: Brock Bowers

Who are the best players available for the Rams on day two?
The Los Angeles Rams selected edge rusher Jared Verse in the first round. That fills a huge need that the team had at the edge rusher position. However, they still have holes to fill on the defensive line and in the secondary. With three picks on day two coming at 52, 83, and 99, the Rams are set up to be in a good spot. Here are 40 players that they could choose from in the second and third rounds.

Coming off a Pro Bowl season, Rams QB Matthew Stafford wants more guaranteed money
Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is entering his 16th season in the NFL, but is still playing at the top of his game after earning a Pro Bowl nod and taking LA to the playoffs last season. While many were questioning if Los Angeles would be planning for life after Stafford by drafting a QB in the NFL draft on Thursday night, it turns out that the Rams quarterback has no plans to retire anytime soon, and may actually be looking for a new contract of sorts.

Who will the Rams select on day two of the NFL Draft
The Los Angeles Rams began day one of the NFL Draft by selecting edge rusher Jared Verse out of Florida State. Here’s who Los Angeles could select on Friday.

LA took the third edge rusher off the board in Jared Verse
After rampant speculation whether the Los Angeles Rams would trade up for an offensive weapon or move down after defensive talent fell down the board, the Rams remained at pick 19 and selected Florida State OLB Jared Verse. Verse becomes LA’s only first round draft choice since the team took Jared Goff first overall in 2016.
The Rams came away with the third edge rusher in the 2024 NFL Draft. The Indianapolis Colts took UCLA’s Laiatu Latu at #15 to make him the first defensive player off the board. A ..read more
