Lots of movement in the safety room.
The Cincinnati Bengals had issues with their safety room last season.
Following the departure of Jessie Bates III and Vonn Bell, Dax Hill was thrust in to a full-time starting role at deep safety. Nick Scott tried to fill Bell’s role but was replaced by Jordan Battle midseason. Battle played well but still showed signs of being a rookie.
Fast-forward to this off-season. The Bengals signed Geno Stone away from the division rival Baltimore Ravens, and suddenly, Bell was back after being released by the Carolina Panthers.

He is draft eligible.
The Cincinnati Bengals offensive line will be a storyline nearly every off-season. NFL Draft pick and free agent discussions have essentially started with offensive linemen every spring since Joe Burrow was drafted in 2020.
Offensive linemen are at such a premium that the Bengals are reportedly checking in on players from other sports.
Per NFL Network’s Tim Pelliserio, the Bengals are meeting today with former University of South Florida basketball player Bayron Matos.

The front-runner position being drafted by the Bengals in the first round of the 2024 draft is offensive tackle. What are some other solid options in rounds 2-3 if they opt for a different route on Day 1?
As we approach the NFL Draft in a few weeks, mock drafts, positional conjectures, and other estimations about the Cincinnati Bengals’ plans are flying around fast and furiously.
The consensus is that Cincinnati will dip into the uber-talented offensive tackle draft pool in the first round for a developmental player for 2025 and beyond.

Let’s make a Pros & Cons list.
The NFL Draft is less than two weeks away, and there are a ton of possibilities for the Cincinnati Bengals with the No. 18 overall pick. I have seen mock drafts with six quarterbacks taken in the first round before the Bengals ever go on the clock.
I’ve seen mocks where Brock Bowers falls, and the Bengals pass on him. I’ve seen Bowers go in the top 5. I’ve seen at least five different offensive tackles mocked to the Bengals, and at least two different defensive tackles, and a couple cornerbacks as well. Hell, I ..read more

The NFL has modified a uniform policy to allow for a third helmet design for teams starting in 2025.
Back in 2022, the NFL allowed teams to have alternate helmet designs after a decade of not allowing teams to do so.
The Cincinnati Bengals immediately took advantage, adding in the white helmets to go with their all-white uniforms.
Now, the NFL has revised the policy even more, allowing for a third helmet design. For teams going through the uniform change process this offseason, they can add a third helmet design for 2024, and for the rest of the teams, which includes the Bengals, they can add ..read more

“Everything’s been positive.”
With offseason workouts beginning, the Cincinnati Bengals are getting back to work as a team.
However, quarterback Joe Burrow has still not been fully cleared to participate, though his recovery from wrist surgery still continues to move in a positive direction.
On Monday, head coach Zac Taylor gave a brief update on Burrow’s status, saying he has yet to see the QB resume throwing but is progressing well in rehab.

The Bengals bring back two of their own.
The Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed exclusive rights free agent long-snapper Cal Adomitis and unrestricted free agent linebacker Joe Bachie to one-year contracts for the 2024 season, the team announced Monday.
Adomitis, a third-year player out of the University of Pittsburgh, was a college free agent signee of the Bengals in 2022. He has played in 35 games for the Bengals (regular season and postseason) and has delivered zero unplayable snaps on 288 attempts since taking over for Clark Harris ..read more
