This is a DL380 gen 10. I need to expand the logical drive /array. The server was originaly built with 2 Arrays. Array 1 - 3 600GB SAS drives (RAID 1 with spare) for the OS (Disks are in bays 6-8) Array 2 - 13 2TB SATA drives for Data in a RAID 5 with a spare. These disks are in bays 1-5 and 9-16. (the drives in 9-16 were added for additional capacity after the server was in use.) I need to expand Array 2 again and have added 2TB SATA drives in slots 17-24. Initial setup of an HPE rack with a HPE 1x1x8 G4 KVM IP Console Switch. Customer tried logging in as Admin with Admin as password and now it says we need a one time emergency paswword. Tried power cycling the KVM and still have same issue, all that comes up on screen is FREE banner and then the box looking for the Password. It says to call HPE, which I did but they want all kinds of serial numbers and contract numbers. to open a case which I don't have access to at this moment. long story short my server booted and ilo had "unknown" beside ipv4 address. i reset it, resetarted it and re set it up and same thing. no activity lights either. i have it on the shared port setting and the other nics work fine. nothings changed so im not sure if the dedicated nics just die? im fully up to date on the firmware now as well as the latest critical bios. further troubleshooting steps to try would be awesome! ty ..read more

Hey Guys When creating a clone for SQL Server database, i get a time out error from the RMC UI. This error was observed when cloning a VLDB.
