Larimer County Natural Resources will soon be updating their Master Plan for public open lands and, more specifically, future recreation opportunities.  The last master plan was completed in 2015.  A LOT has changed since then and your input is critical to seeing that this plan is updated to accurately meet present-day recreation usage and demands.  We also want to thank Larimer County Natural Resources for the opportunity to provide this input! It’s a day when all Coloradans come together to do good.  Colorado Gives Day has evolved into the biggest 24-hour giving movement in the state, bringing in over $415 million since its inception in 2010. Each year, the people of Colorado unite with a shared common purpose: to elevate their community and neighbors by fueling the efforts of nonprofits that make a meaningful change.  Last year our generous and loyal supporters donated just shy of $7,800 on Colorado Gives Day. Volunteer at Tour De Fat – August 26

Tour de Fat is a Bicycle Party with beer. It starts with a costumed bike parade at City Park looping Mountain Ave, then heads to New Belgium Brewing for music, entertainment, contests, games, and of course beer.  Local non-profit organizations benefit financially with a portion of all the beer sales. We’re a week away and still in need of LOADS of volunteers for Roaring Creek Camp & Build Weekend June 24-25! We have a HUGE opportunity to help restore the Roaring Creek trail in the Poudre Canyon after it was destroyed by the Cameron Peak fire in 2020. We’ll be working with the USFS this summer and fall to hopefully have the trail open in October. Mayor Jeni Arndt is proclaiming June as Bike Month in Fort Collins!   The mayor will be making the proclamation at the June 20th City Council Meeting promptly at 5pm.  Come watch live and in person as Fort Collins makes a HUGE step in supporting our cycling community. Mayor Arndt will be presenting the Bike Month Proclamation to members of our youth cycling groups SendTown Bike Club, Ciclismo Coaching, and Wolfpack NoCo – Kids on Bikes, Together.
