The Mile High Report staff discussed whether the Denver Broncos season was a success and what we expect from them in 2025.
Now that the Denver Broncos season has come to an end and later than we’ve grown accustomed to over the last near decade, we decided to discuss the Broncos 2024-25 season and what we expect from them next year.

It was a great season by all metrics.
Good morning, Broncos Country!
The Broncos may have lost on Sunday, but Broncos Country has definitely won.
With a franchise QB-in-the-making and “young-and-hungry” playmakers across the defense, this team is well on its way to rebuilding back to championship football.
We knew we were playing with house money, making it to the playoffs with a rookie QB and a locker room full of guys who think the 1990s are the Golden Oldies.

Bo Nix displayed some toughness this season when he played through a back injury for a portion of the season.
Broncos rookie quarterback Bo Nix did a lot of incredible things during his rookie year, but his display of toughness might be the most impressive. Nix met with the media today and revealed to reporters that he suffered and played through a transverse process fracture in his back. He suffered the injury during the Broncos' second game vs. the Raiders and played through it during their Monday Night game vs. the Cleveland Browns.

The Denver Broncos got predictably stomped by the Buffalo Bills. These are my No Bull thoughts, opinions, and analysis on the final game of the Broncos 2024 season.
Before this game, I had told my family that we’re likely going to lose by double-digits. The Buffalo Bills are top to bottom a better roster that has had consistently good coaching for a longer stretch. I had said if we play this game 10 times, I think the Denver Broncos may be able to win one of them.

With the Denver Broncos 2024 season coming to an end on Sunday after their loss to the Buffalo Bills in the wildcard round of the playoffs, their placement in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft has been finalized. They were in a three-way tie with the Steelers and Buccaneers and due to tie-breakers, the Broncos will have the 20th overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Denver Broncos have signed 13 young players to a future contract now that the 2024-25 regular season has come to an end.
The Denver Broncos have announced the signing of 13 players to future contracts. Among them are two former NFL Draft picks by Denver. Those being guard Nick Gargiulo (2024, 7th round) and defensive lineman Matt Henningsen (2022, 6th round). The team also noted that cornerback Reese Taylor, guard Calvin Throckmorton, defensive backs Tanner McCalister, and Keidron Smith all saw regular season game action last year.
