Summary For March 2024 Portfolio @ End of Mac24  In Mac24, the two newly added stocks ADB & EUPE performed brightly as they rose 37.6% and 9.3% respectively. This has helped to propel my portfolio to gain 1.6% in Mac24. YTD gain improves slightly to 8.1%. The share price of ADB inched up almost everyday and I have no chance to add more shares. Summary For February 2024 Stock Portfolio @ End of Feb24  The stock market is quite bullish in the first two months of 2024. KLCI has already gained 6.6% and my portfolio just manage to match it at 6.4%. In Feb24, I have added two new members into my portfolio: ADB & EUPE. I decided to invest in ADB mainly because of e-invoicing, even though its PE ratio is not low at 30x at share price of 68sen. Recently oil & gas sector seems to be quite robust as Petronas is expected to award more contracts in the near future. It plans 300 facilities improvement projects yearly from 2024 to 2026. Many O&G stocks have made significant gain in share price since the end of Dec23. However, the two O&G stocks in my portfolio (Hibiscus & T7Global) did not move too much. Summary of January 2024 Portfolio @ End of Jan24 Jan 2024 is a special month for stock market in Malaysia. A few stocks crashed heavily with multiple limit downs which was unheard of before. Those stocks include Rapid, YNHProp, Imaspro, SCIB, MERSEC, JSB, ARTRONIQ, APB, SRIDGE, Tanco etc with various degree of severity. Summary For December 2023   Portfolio @ End of Dec23 With a 2.3% gain in the month of Dec23, my portfolio successfully closed year 2023 with a double digit gain of 12.3%. I think this gain is just average, as I can see many stocks making very good progress towards the end of year 2023, even though KLCI fell for the third year in a row.  Summary For November 2023 Portfolio @ End of Nov23 In November 2023, my portfolio value inched up 0.8%. YTD gain is still below 10%. Gtronic's share price moved up the most by 12.6% in the month, and now we know why. Gtronic's founder will dispose his entire 10.4% shares to APB Resources Bhd at a price of RM2.00 per share. To me, this is not an exciting news as it's not good to see any founder exiting his own company.   Summary of September 2023 Portfolio @ End of Sep23 In Sep23, Brent oil price went up from USD85 to USD94. As a result, Hibiscus share price soared 18%. MI also gained a decent 7.5% in the month. Other than these, other stocks did not change much. Thanks to the 2 stocks mentioned above, my portfolio manage to gain 1.5% in Sep23, with a YTD gain of 10.9%. Krono's FY24Q2 result was not too bad.  Summary For August 2023 Portfolio @ End of Aug23 It's been a flat month of Aug23. KLCI dropped marginally  (-0.5%) while my portfolio gained 0.7%. Gtronic gained the most at 10.4% while LEESK suffered the most with a 11.6% loss, probably due to its poor quarter result. I planned to dispose all my Krono warrants on the first day of trading but I just missed the date. Thus I only manage to sell off at lower price of 15sen on the second day of trading.  Summary For July 2023 Portfolio @ End of Jul23 July 2023 was a rather good month for stock market as tech stocks led the way. MI's share price jumped 17% while Gtronic gained 14%. JHM was not far behind with a 9.4% gain in the month. Overall my portfolio improved by 6.4% in parallel with an impressive 6.0% gain in KLCI in the month of Jul23.
