"We do not buy empty glass bottles" - Found on the door of one of the largest supermarkets on La Digue. I thought all shops had to take part in the bottle return scheme? Is this shop just pocketing the bottle deposits?!

3 guys from the Seychelles came to the Metallica concert in Sweden last year. It was so fn badass that they travelled all the way there for the love of Metallica! I would like to get in touch with them again, if anyone knows who they are!

I'm looking for the Takamaka trucker hat / baseball cap, available at the SEZ airport in the bar upstairs. I'll pay you for the hat and postage to Vancouver.
They don't ship overseas so I need a good samaritan to help me out. Please and thank you!

I'll be in Seychelles from May 9 to May 20 and am looking to visit all three main islands. My companions and I are big on hiking, nature, and secluded beaches that aren't crowded. Given our interests, here's the itinerary I've come up with:
May 9-11: Explore Mahé by car.
May 12-14: Fly to Praslin, rent a car at the airport.
May 14-20: Stay in La Digue.
Return to Praslin to catch a flight back to Mahé.
Would you suggest any adjustments to this plan?
We're not planning on dining out much, as restaurant prices seem high for what they offer. Is it easy to find fresh products like fish and veget ..read more

Which island would be better for snorkelling Mahé or Praslin or La Digue? Recommendations for dive centers appreciated since we'd have to rent equipment.

My fiancé and I are planning our honeymoon in the Seychelles for early July. We want to stay at two different places over the course of the trip, and we're pretty set on the Four Seasons Desroches for one half. We have been very interested in the Anantara Maia for the gorgeous rooms and views, as well as the very Seychellois environment being surrounded by granite boulders on the property and on the beach (compared to flat, coralline Desroches). But, since discovering that the Maia was acquired by Anantara pretty recently and has gotten rid of all-inclusive pricing within the past year, we ar ..read more

To all those travelling to Seychelles. Aride is a nice place to visit for a day trip. You can do through this organisation or the boat owners who do excursions - they usually stand by on Côté D'or beach on Praslin.

Headed to Mahe Island tomorrow for ~ 1 week and forecast is for rain most days. Are these rains passing/intermittent or is it cloudy skies?
