This is a throwaway because I am a little freaked out, honestly..
I had just gotten into the country when I got a phone call in Chinese. I wasn't paying attention and assumed it was a local customer so I responded as normal, but then they started asking questions like "do you still live at (address)?" I told them no, and then they wanted to know where I was living now.. then I got defensive and said wait.. who is this? and they said it was the 公安局 (or something to that effect), and they needed to know where I was because their system said that I had been scammed or something like that.. Hi,
i applied for an extension of my Residence Permit. Expected Collection Date is 25th April.
Have a flight booked on May 2nd.
If for any reason the review takes longer and i find that out on the 25th is there an option to abort/cancel the application so i can get my passport back in order to catch my flight home?
My visa is valid until July so i could come back here in June and and start extension again.
My visa agent says it will all go smoothly - i am here for 7 years and 6/7 times i got visa back in time. Last year it took 14 working days - so i am trying to come up with a backup plan.

I know you need to ship samples etc. where is the line drawn? Is it possible to have a checked bag if I want to bring home a few gifts for the family?

How does one view the rental price history of an apartment or a building? I've read a few threads that give the advice to check this, but I cannot figure out how. I don't read any chinese but I can use translation apps to navigate okay.
