I do not invest in stocks. My goal is to get long-term stable returns from mutual funds.

I’m wondering your thoughts on this. Is it enough to have a total market or SP500 and a total bond fund for an IRA/401k? Or should you add a third for something like maybe dividends/income or small/mid cap? I’m young and am looking for a pretty aggressive portfolio.

Planing to invest some lumsum amount in these. Would be staying invested atleast for a year. Any thoughts?? are these good.?? Also whats ur take on ETF's and MF. The only benifit i can think off is about the flexibility of trading. Also open to suggestions for any good balanced 1-2 year holding mutual funds.

I need some advice for short term investment for about 6 month to a year.
I am a novice. Is mutual funds are good options for short term?
if yes please suggest which should I take in consideration.
If no, what are other options.
Thanks in advance.
