Going for a steak, well, halal steak, in London is some serious business. The good ol’ days of saucy halal steaks served on a hot plate with onions are long gone (don’t worry, you will always have a place in my heart!) and things have now evolved to us having a crisis about whether to get the wagyu fillet or the Argentinian picanha – there isn’t a hint of masala in sight! Well, look at this, a restaurant review on HGAT after a long, long time but I couldn’t resist, I just had to share this restaurant with you. Mainly because of how great the steak was over here but also because it’s a rare gem to come across!
Il Giardino is an al fresco Italian fine dining restaurant which can be found at The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge. However, that hasn’t always been the case.
