WORLD RED CROSS DAY – 8th May – The first Red Cross & Red Crescent Day was held in 1948. I had my follow up chest x ray a couple of weeks ago which showed no sign of pneumonia which was such a relief. Two days later I started with another chest infection. He said it was definitely not pneumonia at the moment so I am hoping when I finish this lot of antibiotics it will all come to an end. Of course, the good thing about steroids is that they well and truly help with pain. I have hardly needed any pain killers while taking them. It has slowed me down quite a bit so I have no ..read more

As I am sure you will have seen from some of my previous posts, ‘Lidnocain Intravenous Infusion’ for chronic pain seems to be available in some NHS Hospitals but not from all of them. Lidocaine is a common local anaesthetic that can be delivered by intravenous (IV) infusion to relieve chronic pain.
