ADM: This is an analysis Pollie-Style of Archer-Daniel Midland Company, an existing holding in my Vrijheid Fonds. As said, I already own this company in my Vrijheid Fonds. Or should I say, I’m a proud owner of (a very small) part of this great company. My frequent readers know that I try to make a new analysis of all my shares every year. It has been a while since I did a comprehensive analysis of ADM. For my analysis I use a lot of data from the Internet and from the company itself. But most data I get from the famous CCC-list, which was created by David Fish and is now maintained by Justin L ..read more

Top 5 investment mistakes – Teaching my Kids part 23. It has been a long time since I posted a post in my Teaching my Kids series. So, it is time again, and this time it is a blog about my investment mistakes. As frequent reader of my blog you know that I’m also writing posts to try to educate my kids. I know they are still very young (9 and 11) but it is never too early to start. And they can read these blog posts later on in life (This is probably the case, because they don’t speak or read English very well at this moment!). This is another blog post to keep the “snowball of knowledge” roll ..read more

Month review of my Vrijheid Fonds for May 2020 The month of May is already behind us. It was a month with a nice rebound of the markets. The world’s economy is slowing moving the right way again after almost a complete worldwide shutdown due to COVID-19. Furthermore we saw an increase in the demand for oil and gas again. If we look here in Europe, most of the countries are slowly opening up their economies again. Here in The Netherlands the Intelligent Lockdown has transformed in a 1.5-meter-economy. All shops and restaurant are open again, and within a few weeks the gym will also be allowed t ..read more
