Salut! I’ve been studying French for a year and a half. My goal was to go to Montreal & Quebec City for the ultimate test of my French. And I did it! It was great and I got lots of practice and everything. But now that I’ve achieved my goal, I’m stuck. Idk what I’m studying for and don’t have the motivation.
Any recommendations for what to aim for and respark my passion for this language? Have you experienced something like this?

I use mainly Babbel for learning French. It used the following and I’m wondering the difference.
Tu es Française, toi aussi ? Are you French, too?
Tu parles espagnol aussi ? Do you also speak Spanish?
Is the difference too and also? And why would you use toi aussi vs just aussi? Would « Tu parles espagnol, toi aussi ? » be just as correct?

Bonjour! As the title suggests, I am aiming to give TEF/TCF Canada in near future. I wish to score 7 in all the aspects namely reading, writing, listening and speaking. If I am not wring, this translates to B1-B2 proficiency in the language. I am setting myself an ambitious target of 10 months (a year at max). I have started a week back and below is what I am following currently. * Listening to Michel Thomas' French recordings while I am walking/driving/working out. Roughly 20-30 mins a day. The recording is 8 hours long and I plan to do this twice end-to-end within two months. * Duolingo. Of ..read more

Hey guyss I learn French in school and I haven’t done this is around a year so I’m confused about something!
So when conjugating a verb in a test we’ll normally be given something like: ‘Je rester’ and we’d have to make it ‘J’estrai’ according to the ending of the er verbs. But the future tense have their own endings ‘ai,as,a,ons,ez,ont’ and I’m confused about which one I use.
I have a test on this but the teacher was unclear when I asked him this question so I’m wondering if anyone else could help me, thank you!

"mais du travail, ce n’est pas toujours évident d’en trouver, vous savez ? j’en suis conscient. Je pars avec des économies pour commencer. "
the "en" in j'en suis conscient - i assume it should mean the fact that " n’est pas toujours évident de trouver du travail". but I thought "en" is pronoun only for the de XXX part (de trouver du travail). If that is the cause isn't that a little weird? meaning I am aware of finding a job instead of the that is not easy to find a job?

Is it possible to “ramasse” someone? As in pick them up in a car and take/bring them somewhere? I’m aware that “amener” and “emmener” exist but I was wondering if you specifically do this for ramasser. Merci d’avance!

I’ve been more and more interested with learning French lately, I have some family who speaks it, but I don’t know where to start. I am fluent in Spanish, and I know they share very similar grammatical rules/quite a few cognates so where would someone like me start?

I watched till S1E5. I initially thought the insurance boss sent the mother (MC) to weasel the company out of paying the cancer patient. But I don't understand what's happening in E5. The patient said she wanted to "faire bouger les lignes" and was telling the mother about some options but I didn't understand what was happening.
