Trying to decide where to live, I have lived in both and have job offers in both. I wanted to hear which is the best city to live in and why? Obviously Auckland has shit traffic and Wellingtons weather isn’t the greatest but what other things make each city good or bad to live in?

Drove from Auckland to Hamilton last night. As usual, Southern Motorway was closed between Papakura and Drury. Expecting the usual trip down Gt south road to Drury, we found that someone decided it was a good time to do roadworks between Papakura and Drury on Great Sth Road too. Got to a situation where both the motorway and the detour were closed and everyone driving round and round Papakura trying to find how to get to Drury. And Google was also directing everyone to the closed Papakura interchange. I ended up nearly to Pukekohe and my trip to Hamilton took 3 hours and probably $40 extra in ..read more

Hi all - I don't go to concerts very often and I've never been to the Powerstation. I'm going to one soon but I potentially might be late. Do they still let you in if the supporting act has started? Or the main act? Basically just want to know if I can still get in even if I'm late, or if there's a certain time the doors close and you're not allowed in anymore. Appreciate any answers.

Traffic at 11pm in Papakura. Motorway closures causing absolute mayhem from Takanini through to the Papakura interchange. Signs stated closed from Takanini to Papkura.....should have directed everyone to go to Drury. Nearly an hour to go from Papakura Kmart to the on ramps

For me it’s AA at the top. You can always bank on them to get you out of trouble whether it’s a car breakdown or home service

A couple of years ago I did a DNA test and discovered I am Jewish, my mother was adopted so we didnt know her heritage until we did the DNA test. Since then I have been slowly learning more about my Jewish culture and embracing traditions and cultural practices, and celebrating Jewish holidays. In recent months unfortunately I have faced some antisemitism, from people in my personal life, and also a couple times by strangers in public as I chose to wear the Star of David, and it is something that I have struggled with a lot, I would love to connect with other Jewish New Zealanders, but I am n ..read more
